It was very nice to take 2 of 3 at Minnesota in a very entertaining series,punctuated by stellar pitching,and equally great defense from both teams. :thumbsup:
But since the win against the Yankees last Sunday,the starting pitching has been dominant.Over the last 4 games,the Sox starters(Contreras,Garcia,Buehrle,and Garland in order)have pitched a combined 32 1/3 innings and have given up only 3 earned runs.Even with those gaudy numbers,the Sox are 2-2 in that span.
This is the kind of pitching that has driven the Sox all season.Now the offense has to step up too the rest of the trip in Seattle and Texas.
