View Full Version : A Position Player is heading to the Minors

Well it looks like a position player will go to the minors thanks to Baker being called up so which one you think it will be. I am guessing it's going to be Terry Tiffee. Michael Ryan could be another guy that go down, but he has played okay and the fact he had three hits tonight against Texas keeps him in the big club I think.

I take it the Twins want to get themselves Baker for the playoffs eh? (i'm assuming that's why he is being called up before september)

That would be correct. If by chance they made the postseason, they want him available.

Well you can forget playoffs after this weekend. Scott was coming here eventually playoffs or no playoffs. I rather see him throw. There is no point having him in the minors when he has proven himself in the majors. I did not want to see Joe Mays out there again. He probably cost this team a playoff spot with a lousy, embrassing performance out there.
