Same ol same ol. When you see a game like this, you can't wait for this season to end. This season has been a long one and a forgettable one to say the least. Today was a great example. I knew they would lose this one too when it was scoreless heading to the eighth.

I don't want to hear about how it's hard to sweep. Please spare me that. They are playing the Royals where the great teams have found a way to beat those guys. These last three games has been a struggle against KC.

The only good thing about this game besides the fact it was over was seeing Kyle rebound from a awful start at Arlington, Texas. He pitched a damn good ballgame. Unfortunately for him, he did not get the run support like his fellow starters has had.

This offense is brutal. It's a joke. Losing Jacque and Shannon really hurt here, but you know what, even if they were there, our offense would still have been pathetic. I am telling you. If this team have this same offense next year, this team will finish in last place in the division and they probably will. What the hell is the point of having the pitchers throw a shutout and lose? HUH?

I pledge myself not to get angry anymore or even care about the Twins anymore. It's not worth it. When you see what's going on in New Orleans and when you see soldiers getting killed in Iraq, why get upset about the Twins. Why? I honestly wouldn't care if they don't win anymore this season. It wouldn't bother me. This team has been unwatchable all year.

Football season is next week thankfully. At least, we got Gophers football to watch tommorow. Say how many more days for NHL training camp and NBA training camp?

I thought you said one run games didnt bother you?

But with 13 hits and no runs is what has bothered this team all year. Got to get those runs across.

Just got to hope that next year Justin can adjust after the pitchers got the book on him and that the Twins might get a FA bat in the line up or trade for one. But I dont know if they will sign one if they resign Joe and try to resign Jacque.

But I was in football mode about middle of July when high school kids was starting to strap on the pads.....

Well the one run games did not bother me at the time since the offense was doing okay, Shad. I was hoping the offense would turn those one-run games around in the second half. Remember, they were .500 in one-run games. Now they must be 12 or more games below .500 on one-run games.

This second half has been a miserable to watch with that offense. Too many guys are just not hitting and that's why the Twins are in this predicament. The reason why the Twins are losing the one run games is because their offense just stinks. Twins also stink on offense when they are blown out so it does not make a difference about those one-run losses.

As for Justin, if he is struggling like this next year, you really have to wonder if he is going to be a legitimate MLB player. From the looks of what I saw, I really have to wonder if he will have any success in the majors.
