The Minnesota papers and Twins announcers on TV are trying to promote Johan for Cy Young votes. My question is why aren't they doing the same for Carlos. No disrespect to Johan, but Carlos has been the best Twins pitcher all year. All he has done is give the team a chance to win every fifth day. He does not give up many runs. He only had three bad games this season at best. His Ks, WHIP, and lack of walks speak for itself. It ain't his fault that the offense blows. The sad part of all this is that not many writers will take a look about the job he has done because of his record which is so misleading. He should be getting promoted to get some Cy Young votes over Johan. He has done this from April to now while Johan started to get hot from late July to August. While Johan may be the best pitcher of the entire Twins staff, Carlos Silva has been the best pitcher of the Twins staff this season.
