View Full Version : Who would you rant Yourself as a Fantasy Player?
This should be interesting to see how you view yourself as a Fantasy Player.
Give your a Rating of 1 to 10 on Each (10 being the best) and teel us why you desolve that rating.
Drafting
Are you are good Drafter or as you offen disapointed with what you end up with?
Pickups
how are you at finding them hiden gems before others do?
Holding on to staggling stars
If you drop them to early you may lose a star player but if you drop them too late then you may lose a chance to pick up someone better.
Trading
Do you find it easy or Hard to do?
Alright, For myself.
Drafting I am a 10. Sure I can draft players who don't turn out what you thought they would be but none of us can avoid that mather how much you prepaire but I'm a 10 becouse on a whole I can out draft everyone on a any given day.
Pickups Lets say about a 8. I'm pritty good at finding them but I don't sometime pay as close of a atention to it as I should.
Holding on to staggling stars Make it a 6. I offen have troble letting go and hold on to long.
Trading I'm not sure how to rate this one. I've been a 5 for a long time. I always worried about giving up too much and my style of being fair from the start offen lead to being unflexable or giving giving up too much but I notice that is a problem and in the past mouth or so I've forcus on it and I have been after some very good players and I'm getting them and I have been making some unbeliveable Trades and I have been Trading at atless a 9 of late.

[QUOTE=645]Alright, For myself.
Drafting I'd say 8. A lot depends on your placement in the draft but I usually do my best regardless where I am.
Pickups 7. I usually keep up on the MLB and transactions with hot/cold players.
Holding on to staggling stars 5. I'm getting better. I don't give up on players right away. I'll put stuggling players on the bench but I don't drop very often.
Trading 6. I'm also getting better with trading. I usually have my whole teamn up for grabs for the right offer.

Drafting- 8;
Pick Ups- 6; Huston Street, Clint Barmes
Holding on- 1; i have no patience, I traded Chavez for trash.
Trading- 10; i picked up Andruw Jones in a trade before the All-Star break.
I can only rank myself from one year experience and from 2 leagues, 1 head to head league and 1 point league.
Draft - Brain Roberts? I would say I'm a 8. I know what I need during the draft for both leagues and got it. Came in first in point league and came in second in the standings in the head to head league, still need to first up the playoffs. I say I did a pretty good job my first year in both type of leagues.
Pick Ups - 8. I missed out in picking up Street, Todd Jones and Hermanson. I miss a chance at a lot of good closers, but I did pick up some big names like Andrew Jones, Barry Zito and Andy Pettitte since some people dropped them since they were struggling.
Holding on - An 8. I was quite patience with many of my stars. I keep Helton and Victor Martinez while they were playing like trash.
Trading - Westbrook for Colon and I trade Colon for Burnett. So, I guess a 5. It was the only major trade I made worth nothing. I did trade Ensberg and Bay for Sheffield, so that was a steal. Though, I should have stuck with Colon, but Burnett not that bad.

Drafting-8-I usually have no problem in this area...
Pickups-9-Usually good to find a sleeper or 2 a season. This season I got Francoeur, Peralta, Cantu and Garland to name a few..
Holding on to staggling stars-10-Probably my best point in fantasy.. I usually never give up.. I'm not too quick to jump the gu.. See Helton..;)
Trading-6-I usually make a trade or 2 in the season and will not get ripped off but I'm not really big into trading... The only trade I made this season in 4 leagues was Horacio(Braves) for Patterson(Nats).. I think I got the better of that trade;)
