I hate to say this........... (believe me........ I hate to say this)........ but I sort of like the way the Braves' rookies have come up and played really well this season.

And their right fielder - Jeff Franceour - was just interviewed by Matt Laughlin on Mets on Deck. Hard to believe he was a 2002 high school graduate!!! He's a baby!!! He must be like 20, 21 years old! And he seems so mature!!! (Plus he's a real cutie.)

Okay. I still hope the Mets kick their asses, but I must repeat. My hatred for the Braves is not as strong as it used to be. :tongue:

I agree with you on the Braves, Nanner. You hit the nail in the head. Atlanta has really built their team the right way the last three years. That's a credit to Schuerholz, Bobby Cox, and Leo Mazzone. I have tremendous respect for those three men. They know what the heck they are doing. As a Twins fan, I have really appreciated Atlanta winning this year. When I look at what the Twins have gone through this year, I really appreciate how Atlanta goes out and win every year. They may not win championships or get past the first round, but at least they field a great product year after year. Atlanta wins by making smart trades and developing young talent as you have saw the last two years. It's not easy as it looks as either as the Twins can attest. I have more respect with the way Atlanta builds their baseball team unlike the Yankees, White Sox, or the Red Sox.
