Looper must go.

If this is not clear that Turner Field or the Braves are in Mets heads, I don't know what it is. I thought Willie would make a difference and I think he will eventually, but until some players grow some guts, it will continue to happen.

This loss was devestating:(

Going into St. Louis for 4 games, our Wild Card hopes are now in serious jeopardy:(

We need Atlanta to beat the Nats, the Phils and Marlins to beat each other up along with the Brew Crew winning 2 of 3 from the Stros and we NEED to take 3 of 4 from the Cards to stay in this thing...

We are seriously running out of time and falling apart at the wrong time:(

It wasn't meant to be, BG. At this point, the Mets need to finish the season strong and finish the year with a winning record. They can do it.

This loss was devestating not just how it ended, but how Atlanta just does it again time after time. It's old hat and they know they can beat the Mets. I don't know the solution to it. It has to be frustrating. It's a huge piano in the back the Mets have to carry.

Looper sucks. There's no two ways about it. I understand rationally that not everyone is Rivera or Hoffman, but why do we always get stuck with the guys who can't cope with pressure?

As for Ratlanta being in the Mets' heads, it's just bizarre. Not a single guy who was on the field last night was there in 1997, 1998, 1999 or 2000. Yet we still cannot buy a win in that place.

Looper sucks.

56 IP, 59 Hits, 26-K's, 20-Walks, 3.70-era, 1.41-WHIP

Those #'s SUCK for a closer... He is definitely one of the worst in baseball #'s-wise:(

Only Francisco Cordero and Danys Baez have more blown saves than Looper as far as closers....:Pissed:
