There's some flaws in it (i.e. having Fogg in the bullpen in one part and out of the bullpen in another; Benson starting the year in Pittsburgh) and some stuff that doesn't make any sense (Bell and Meares both on the bench).

I think that they always mess up our preview, probably because they don't care about us. They have a bias for the big market teams, which makes them hypocrytes. They complain about the lack of parity, but they only give coverage to the teams with money.
Unless Bell goes into Operation Shutdown.

that is why I like Rob neyer. Rob is a small-market guy, being a fan of the Royals himself. I think he writes more articles about the Pirates than any national writer. Most of them not positive of course, but there isn't much positive to say about them.

ESPN never has a clue, this story never mentions Mackowiak, Hermansen, or Hyzdu. they all have a shot at making the opening day roster. Two of these guys will be the replacements for "Operation shutdown"(Bell), and Meares if the pirates decide to eat thier contracts. Which Littlefield has stated a willingness to do so.

I didn't notice Hermansen not being listed. How in the world can you forget about Hermansen?
I can understand Mackowiack being omitted. After all, if he was listed, that would have meant ESPN did their homework. Which they never do.
Bell will absolutely not be on this roster. If he is, I'll lose a lot of respect for Littlefield.
