I Think I Know Why The Mets Won Today(Sunday 9/11/05)

This past Friday I did some shopping in Manhattan. I bought this baseball cap that has the MLB logo along with the logos of all 30 teams.

Also at the Mets clubhouse shop in Manhattan, I bought an all star jersey that was marked 50% off (cost me only $64.00). The jerseys they had were either Carlos Beltran or Pedro Martinez.

Well, being that Pedro is having a better season than Beltran, I bought the Pedro jersey.

Well, I wore the hat and the jersey while I was out and about today and when I got home, I turned on the radio and was surprised to learn that the Mets had won.

I guess I'll have to keep wearing the hat and jersey to keep the winning streak alive.

aren't the jets considered a New Jersey team by many? that's what i've always heard.
