He was fantastic as he made his debut as a starter yesterday against the Tigers. 6 strikeouts and he gave up 5 hits. He worked fast. He did a great job working fast and economizing his pitches. Michael Cuddyer thinks of him as Johan. That's a high praise to mention in the same elk as Johan. Too bad that he did not get run support (gee what else is new!). Like his fellow starters, he ought to get in line because the entire staff did not get run support all season.
I hope Liriano gets used to getting no run support because this same crap will happen next year and the year after that. Here's hoping he does not go psycho lnext year knowing that he won't have run support.
