I hope the Twins are motivated this weekend with the White Sox invading the Twin Cities. Twins fans are fearing for their lives as the Sox army come to Minneapolis. It's up to the Twins to do something about it. It won't be easy. This team stinks offensively all season. Maybe the Twins position players can rub into nuclear waste and then become superheroes the way Michaelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo, and Donatello became superheroes as turtles as they step on nuclear waste.

I really hope those guys play hard and become superheroes for one weekend. I know that there has been lot of backstabbing, but I hope everyone play for a common cause and that's to eliminate the White Sox into playoff position. This team can beat the White Sox. They are 7-8 against them. Plenty of time to win the season series. This is their World Series. The hope is that the White Sox do not celebrate a playoff berth against the Twins especially at our house. Here's hoping some guys actually care.

I have a good feeling the Twins will take the series.

Oh and here's hoping Geoff Blum gets plunked after he used a karate chop to hit L-Rod's stomach.

What army?

I repeat for the "I don't know how many times" - the Sox don't bring any fans to Minnesota. I don't know where you get this from. The White Sox can't even draw fans at home. They are 17th in the majors in atendance and are down from a year ago.

The last Twins/Sox game I went to, there couldn't have been over a couple hundred
White Sox fans. If you haven't been there to see it first hand, then you just don't know - I wouldn't go by TV coverage until they start showing every seat.

Exactly TC,what army? :notme:
We couldn't get more than 29,000 at home against a potential playoff opponent in the Angels last weekend, and we didn't even crack 15,000 at home against the Royals. That's just absolutely pathetic on our part TC.

TC: Then how come Comcast SportsNet Chicago always have their cameras focusing on the White Sox fans that show up at the Dome. Like before every inning, they will focus on the White Sox fans sitting at the game. You can hear them scream out there when the White Sox get a hit. Plus I lurk at WhiteSoxInteractive.com. You be amazed to see lot of White Sox fans from Minnesota.

I will be glad to even you got my MLB.TV account where CSN Chicago cameras focuses on White Sox fans at the Dome.

Mark told you that they show the 100 so fans in the park.

So I take it you believe what they show you on TV over someone who is right there? I would tend to believe that the camera shows the few. Just like when you go to a Rockies game. You will see a few fans of the other teams to where if you showed those few on TV all the time it would look like there was many there.

Big surprise that the Sox broadcast shows Sox fans.

I have the MLB Extra Inning package and get 60 out of market games a week. Guess what, every team's feed shows their fans, whether they are playing home or away. Just like the point of view of the game is different with one team's announcers over the other team's.

When the Twins are on the road, the TV feed hunts up all the Twins fans and shows them. It doesn't mean the stadium is full of our fans.

True. It goes to show you that there are Twins fans everywhere in this country.

Actually when the Twins were at Arlington, I am so certain that there were more Twins fans than Rangers fans as that ballpark was empty in the weekend series. It was the same thing last year too. Mainly because the Rangers were falling apart not to mention no one wanted to waste his or her time in that hot weather in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Summer time at the Ballpark at Arlington can be brutal.

I think the same criteria apply for Twins fans now as before the 3 straight division titles: The few, the proud, the patient

There might be Twins fans everywhere in the country but us diehards don't have to claim them all.

Actually TC,the attendance is up at The Cell this season. They have already drawn over 2.1 million this season through 74 home dates, which would be on pace for the 4th highest in White Sox history.

My comment was based on an article in USA Today, front page of the sports section(Thursday, September 15th), talking about how the attendence in Cleveland, Oakland, and Chicago was disappointing. Chicago is 17th out of 30. It mentioned that the Sox continue to play second fiddle to the Cubs, even though they have a much better record.

Either way, they still don't bring any fans to the Dome, when they come here.

I totally understand where you're coming from there.Attendance for those 3 teams are always going to be sub-par.

But you notice that 2 of those teams that you mentioned are from 2 team areas.
