I got to watch a little of Scott Baker's performance Friday night against the White Sox. I gotta say that it was awesome. He really did a great job shutting down the Sox for seven innings. He has been doing this since he has been up here. He looks like he is well beyond his age when he is on the mound. He is night and day compared to Joe Mays.
It boggles my mind why Scott was not inserted in the rotation early. He should have stayed there after the way he pitched against the Angels and he should have definitely be there the moment after Joe Mays got rocked against the Yankees in New York.
At least, it has been fun watching Scott pitch. I can't wait to see him full-time next year. He along with Francisco Liriano will definitely make this starting staff even better. When you can make Brad Radke be your fifth starter, that's pretty darn good.
