Let me start by praising Kyle Lohse for having a great second half. He did a great job and he should be proud of himself. He did everything right which was throwing strikes and working fast. Should that mean he should be back? Definitely not. I have seen what he could do for 5 years. He was supposed to break out every year, but it hasn't happened. I don't want to wait anymore. Let him show his potential elsewhere. I just don't see how there is any room for him to be in the rotation anyway. It's very important to go get a bat for this guy. Question is whether or not the Twins are going to get a bat. My feeling is that the Twins are going to get nothing for Kyle Lohse. Every team knows that the Twins are desperate to get rid of Lohse so odds are not one team will give anything for him with the idea that any team can sign him without giving up anything for him.
Look for Kyle to be released. It's too bad that we can't even get anything for him because of the fact everyone knows that the Twins can buy him out since there is no room for him in the rotation.
