You gotta give San Diego credit. They got it done. Stuff happens. What can you do? Teams have days like that. It's similiar to the Gophers getting theirs yesterday at Happy Valley.
Chargers got a new life. They needed this game and now their season could be turned around in this game.

Because Minnesota was soooooo much better than Penn State. :hmm:

Minnesota is still better than Penn St. 9 out of 10 times, Gophers win. Yesterday, they took them lightly. I know I did not take Penn St. seriously. I felt Gophers were good enough to beat them and I felt they would be focused. Unfortunately, Penn St showed that they are better than I thought. Also I thought the Gophers were hung over from that thrilling win in double OT against Purdue last week. It's rare they beat great teams in the Big 10 so they were thinking about that game all week. I think the Gophers had a huge letdown yesterday and it showed.
The only thing about Penn St that is better than the Gophers is QB. Michael Robinson is so much better than Bryan Cupito that it's not even funny. Cupito got exposed badly without Maroney getting the ball (he is still a Heisman Trophy favorite in my eyes). Just for the record, I was hoping Tony Mortsen was our QB to start the season. Cupito just stinks.

i saw the 4th quarter and during that quarter, the chargers dominated in every single facet of the game.
as an aside, minnesota showed that they were overrated.

Screw that Pats. WTF happened to the RAMS? Oh yeah, they suck. Nevermind. 62 passes my Marc Bulger? How the hell does Mike Martz still have a job?

Really, they ran the ball like 2 times in the second half. And the Giants' defense is horrible.

Go Giants:)
Manning looks amazing, as does Burress. Their defense needs to step it up a little bit though.

Lossing your top two coachs, lossing the heart of the defense and then lossing the replacment heart. It looks like it is catching up to the Pats.
But it shows how good they are. To lose that much as still be a top team.

The last time the Steelers lost their top 2 coordinaters, and a Pro Bowl nose tackle, they went 15-1.... thats not a good excuse..;)

I thought the Pats only scored 17?
And the Lions lost their offencive coordinator this offseason, and they don't look any worse! :nono1:
When have the Rams run the ball? When Faulke was in his prime? I'm not sure why they're not using Jackson more, but hey, the Giants look pretty damn good. Manning and Burress look like a great pair. With a great running back in Barber and let's not forget about Jacobs along with a solid TE and good defense. Better not look down on the Giants this year. ;)
The Jets are another story... :D
Patriots just got spanked. I don't know what the hell happen. LT ran for 134 yards and 2 TD and Brees threw for 2 TD and 248 yards. Patriots' defense wasn't good that day. Along points in every quarter. Defense falling a part might have to do with Light and Harrison being out, but I don't know.
Hey, the division doesn't look hot. Bills and Jets went down again. Miami had a bye week. Lol, Miami in first.

The Giants looked good though. I give them lots of credit. Eli Manning is really starting to come around.

I was surprised with the Giants Game yesterday and what made me even happier is so was my mom I didnt have to hear her yell as much.
Give it this, Eli got screwed last year, but we still got the rest of the season lets hope we keep looking this good.
I like to pride myself on teh fact that they signed to stay in albany for training...yeah its nice having them around in teh summer:)

Eh, stuff happens. We'll get em next week. It's gonna take a few weeks for the new defense to settle in.

How do you like those Gophers now? They made a statement not only to Michigan but to the Big 10 today with that win today.

That doesn't mean that they still weren't overrated at the time.
