I was listening to the gamer on the way to work today. Jack slipped trying to field a gounder, finished the inning and was due up second. They pulled him and they speculated he had gotten hurt. Did anyone hear anything? I had to get out and go to work at about that time. Hopefully it was just precautionary.

according to the PPG this morning, he was pulled out because he was wearing the wrong spikes. Apparently, at some point in the last 2 days, the Pirates have become a little league team. thereby the occorunce of this phenomenon. Apparently, Jack WILL play today.

He's having a really good spring, it would really be a shame to see him get hurt now. I hope he carries what he has been doing over to the regular season.

On a seperate not, how about the spring that Abraham Nunez is having? He's batting .478 probably as quietly as you can bat .478.

Jack's having a great Spring.

If he could hit .260-.270, and reese could hit .240 or so, this middle infield may not be as bad as we first thought offensively.
