Rocker

Looks like we will be seeing Rocker in action pretty quick since Zimmerman is going on the DL. I'm hoping Rocker does a good job.

Rocker is going to be our closer before long. I think Zim will be a set-up guy and closer and so will Rocker. Most teams will be using 2 guys unless they have that ace. It just makes sense to split the save opps. You get more use out of the 2 of them, and I am sure that is Hart's agenda with the trade for Rocker.

Don't tell anyone, but I really like Rocker. I hope he does well this year, (except against us). Anyways, I'm at work, and I got a baby TV in here to watch Sox/Rangers. My first chance to see Carl.

The Rocker talk is already out there. I have heard it now on 2 different ESPN radio shows talking about fantasy baseball. He should be given early season attention because he will be the only closer until Zim is healthy. Then they will split time and thier numbers will be mediocre.

I wish we had a TV. I have my radio though and it is tuned and ready for the start of the Rangers season.

I think Carl was a good pick-up for the Rangers. He always can get the hits, but he shored up our OF in my opinion. We had gone through some OF here lately. Every year was a new guy in every field except for Greer. But he has been hurt the past 2 seasons. If we stay healthy in the OF we should have a great combination out there of Juan, Carl, and Rusty or whoever else they play there, like Kapler or Cato.
