Good to see Wilson getting more hits....
And how bout the bullpen...no runs again!

Wilson has to get 400 atbats this season, unless he struggles. He could be the first power hitter developed in this system who went through smoothly, with no bumps along the way.
AB having two hits was nice too.
The bullpen did pitch well again. I think the bullpen is going to be the strong point of this team this year.

the bucs played a pretty goood game today. I hope Rios is alright though..
The Twins announcers are on crack by the way.. They kept calling our SS JACKIE Wilson.. and they kept calling Brian Giles by the name of Warren Giles.
Oh.. and in the top of the 7th inning, the one dude said: "Everyone is standing as they sing our National Anthem, Take Me Out to the Ballgame"
They also kept forgetting to turn the live feed off during commercial breaks.. .so you could hear them arguing and stuff the entire time.

That's . . . sad.
I think that the bullpen is going to be pretty good too. There are some good arms in there, and even more when Fetters gets healthy. They did a pretty good job this offseason as far as strengthening the pen.
Wilson is going to tear it up this year. I don't think Bell is going to be with the team, and I also believe there is an outside chance that he might steal the starting job from KY if he struggles, even though he is having a good spring. He'll get his at bats somewhere.

That's pretty funny about the announcers. How can you be a professional broadcaster and make so many dumb mistakes? Just so it's not the Pirates announcers, I think it's funny. Of course, Greg Brown would get excited about ANYTHING.
I don't think CW will take the job away from anyone. I can't see Craig forcing KY's glove out of the lineup. If KY had a brick glove, then I could see it. But Wilson is too poor defensively to run him out there at first IMO.

Well, you might be right. If Kevin Young is even servicable at the plate he won't lose his job, and I would agree with that decision. But if Craig keeps hitting like he did last season, and KY hits dismally enough, then I think he could be replaced. And if he were to start making errors again, then it's wide open.

If KY's defense falters, Craig Wilson should be given the starting job assuming he hits. That's the only thing KY has going for him.
If he does stink, I won't criticize him. He earned my support with how he handled his child's death, and not blaming his poor season on that. I'm rootin' for ya, Kevin ...
