With the trade of Tim Rattay to the Bucs, it looks like #11 is gunna be starting for good for th3 49ers. I would have perferred to keep Rattay as a safety blanket (even though he's pretty much horrible) for Alex Smith if he hits hard times but I guess you might as well let the rookie takes his hits and get some experience.
