I was just wondering if they had actually announced anything yet about the final cuts.

I would put money on Bell not making this team, and I think the odds are less than even on Meares also.

my guess is that since there is not a game until tonight, that they will not be announced until AFTER the game.I hope I am wrong though. I am tired of looking at the PG website every hour.

I think the final cuts will be announced today or tomorrow. Sunday is the deadline, and you have to figure they'd like two or three ST games to run out their every day lineup.

By the way, Rick. I remember reading you watch SportsBeat, so you must have Fox Sports Pittsburgh. The game tonight is being televised. I think it begins at 7:00 if you want to watch it.

Thanks GHAS, I did indeed watch the game. It is nice getting Fox Sports Pittsburgh up here. It's sad that when I moved up here for school, that was on of my big concerns. But what the heck would I do without my Pirates and Penguins games?

according to Bob and Tom last night during the radio broadcast, it probably won't be announced until this evening, after they play the blue Jays (which , BTW at last count they were losing 9-4 after having been up 3-0!!

Who gave up all the runs?

I'm really starting to worry about our pitching. I mean, I know that the rest of civilized already thought it would be terrible, but I was holding onto some hope.

Villone was the starter. I think he gave up 5.. then boehringer came in. I stopped listening at that point after Boehringer gave up 4.

I'm glad for FSP too. I wouldn't have any connections to the Penguins or Pirates if not for Fox Sports Pittsburgh. And then I wouldn't know what to do.

I am not really as concerned with the pitching in whole as I am with Dave Williams. He has been shelled all spring. Luckily there is enough depth to replace him, but I was hoping for a good year out of him after last year's success.

It's a final, Bucs lost 10-6. It was 10-4 in the ninth, so they must have had some kind of rally.

I will be checking every hour for the roster decisions ...
