So, did any of you hear the deal with the rumor deal? The deal would send Manny to Anaheim, Glaus and Erstad to Boston and Arizona gettims some players and prospects. I think it's just a rumor, I might favor the deal, if Glaus was not a injury reck, since he is, that's a horrid deal, if it happen.

While all the news appears to be BAD news with the Sox lately, it's really the only baseball news you hear at all since the WS ended.
I did hear. But once again, its just rumors.

I am tired. Ive been trying to sleep earlier, but it makes no difference. I know you have a long commute to and fro work. How long is it? And how the hell do you do it? :notme: Mine is wearing me down already. :sigh:
Well, Theo and Henry feed us a lot of BS last night at that press conference, but I guess they don't want to start any trouble like another person like do starting smear campaign and disclosing confidential information to media.
Some dude off the street with no experience should walk into the office and take the job. Red Sox GM, the dream job, until Larry decides you suck. ;)
This does suck. We could have easily promoted Theo's assistant GM, before he bailed for the Arizona job. I still have a feeling they're going to look outside the organization for a new GM. No real talk have begun, I assume.

My commute is 35 miles/45 minutes each way. I don't mind it that much because I don't hit any traffic. I just plug in my iPod and listen to music or ESPN Radio while I drive.

Ohh, thats why. Its takes me almost an hour each way. And its only about 23 miles. But I hit traffic to and fro work. In reality, it should only take me like 20 minutes. Thats how long my commute to work is on saturdays. :sigh:

I dont know, to me, it just sounded like he was hiding alot more than he was showing. He should just said straight out, he hates Larry. The press conference would have been over just like that. :notme:

i only have a 30 minute busride into work (bus stop 50 feet from my building) and then 40 minutes back home on either the EL or the Bus in the evening. In the evening there are a buncha foul smelling hippies on either one of them. :(

i think he went a tad overboard and while theo didnt exactly handle it well, he certainly isnt the only one who should be criticized. Pretty obviously, he doesnt quite have the pain tolerance of cashman, who is obviously a masochist! :D so thats a bit of an unfair comparison.
still, he probably should have handled the PC better, and just come out swinging. O Connor was right though about how henry came across.

Bob, don't get me wrong, I'm upset Theo is gone, but I'm pissed at how he left. You gonna tell me one freakin article, or one bad thinf Larry said to him made him leave? . If so, then he is a baby. Think Steinbrenner doesn't piss off Cashman from time to time?
While I give most of the blame to Larry, if Theo hated him so bad, why not leave weeks ago? Why wait till the last minute?
