Bowden has done what exactly during his great GM career? Take the Reds to playoff once being their GM for under or over 10 years? Are any of these guys ever successful in their careers? :confused:

Boo, Theo left us with bums. He should have quit sooner so we could have hire his assistant GM.

Boston should interview the Tribe's assistant GM Chris Antonetti, he helped Montreal's strong farm system back in the day and had a huge helping hand in rebuilding the Tribe as well. With Shapiro around for awile, I'd love to see Antonetti get a shot.

Theres a new candidate. His name is Theo Epstein. Heard he's pretty good.

So that is the rumor of the day. I believe that Larry is literally on his knees trying to convince him to reconsider. The wound is too deep to heal. Just my opinion. :notme:

"They'll also talk to Toronto assistant Tony LaCava, Atlanta assistant Dayton Moore, Los Angeles assistant Kim Ng and others, Peter Gammons reported. They will interview former Montreal and Baltimore GM Jim Beattie on Friday.

Cleveland assistant Chris Antonetti declined an opportunity to interview for the job."

No. There was rumor of him coming back, but those had no base and were dismiss by Red Sox management.
