I forgot which team he was with, so I thought I'd post this here. Remember that crazy story about a month ago? He is accused of attacking workers on his property with an ax, then setting them on fire! :eek:

According to the reports I have read, I actually wouldnt be surprised if he didnt do it and these guys are just out after some money.

So would I. It is a crazy story. I don't know if he did it or not, but I remember he used to be a street fighter in Venezuela. He did an interview about that when he was a Red Sox.

His mother is home safe now. I'm glad you brought that up. Of all the MLB players from dangerous countries, how is it that Urbina's mom gets kidnapped, and now this? Ya gotta wonder if Urbina is into some shady shit.

actually, venezuala is probably the most dangerous of the latin america countries (well other than columbian drug lords and all). they do take hostages and shoot soccer referees and all!

Yeah, I know it is Ray, so is Columbia, I just find it odd that out of all MLB players from these countries only Urbina has all this trouble.
