If you are reading this, Mark, you will realize that I am not the only one who has a problem with McHale's body of work as the GM of our favorite team. The captain has a problem too. If you or anyone watched the TNT's coverage last night, KG ranted about the state of the team from last year. He called McHale out about his management skills. He also made an interesting point about how McHale tried to undermine Flip by offering suggestions of what to do and all. I told you all season last year that McHale should have been gone. I personally thought the Wolves should have hired George Karl to be the GM and the head coach when the season was getting out of hand. They should have done it before Denver made a move. If George was there, we would have won a championship and KG would not be telling Cheryl Miller about his problems with the organization.

I got no problem with what KG said. In fact, I am happy with what he said and it's about time someone in the organization exposed McHale for what he is. He is right on with everything. I felt McHale should have been gone with Flip last season and have this team run by George Karl.

Did the national and local media blew Kevin's statement out of propotion? Absoultely. He never indicated he wanted out of the team. He just vented about McHale's leadership and work as a GM. That's fine. He is a star player. He is entitled to say what he wants for what he has done with the organization. He voiced an opinion. For Rick Alonzo of the Pioneer Press to talk about KG's opinions as the main story instead of the game was silly. For Tom Powers to even write about KG in his column today was pointless. He just was telling it like it is. Who cares? Now we are going to hear more of KG trade rumors all season long which is unfortunate. I don't think he wants out just yet unless things get real bad this season which I doubt it will.

Charles and Kenny's asssertion about how the Wolves should trade KG was pretty dumb. There is no need to trade KG. He has lot of prime years in him. Why not get some talent and build around him? That's what McHale should be doing. Finding a way to get those guys. There is no need to dump KG at all even if he is unhappy. Get some talent. McHale was able to do it couple of years ago and he should do it again now. Obviously, Charles and Kenny likes to state outrageous opinions since they get ratings by saying so. It shouldn't be the case. Good thing most GMs don't have that thinking that Charles and Kenny does.

I don't think Kevin is unhappy yet. All he did was hope that McHale start doing his job as a GM. That's all. There was nothing to make a big deal about. Good for Kevin for speaking his mind on McHale.

One thing for sure. This organization better not only find a way to win the Northwest Division, but they better get to the second round. I am not sure if this team can acheive that considering this roster is not good and that they are up and down.

At least, Wolves fans get it. They are not content with this horrible product. They are not going to the games. They are last in the league with attendance. That organization had it coming. I just hope Wild fans share the same attitude with the Timberwolves fans by not going to the games.

The bottom line is FIRE MCHALE!

The Timberwolves are okay and nothing more. Their roster is basically NBDL like without KG. It seems they win only when KG has great games. That should never be the case. You need a great supporting cast and I am not sure if this supporting cast is anything to write home about. I still don't know if they are a playoff team. To me, they are nothing more than up-and-down team. I think Dwane Casey has done a very good job in his first year as the team's head coach, but he can't make chicken salad out of chicken crap with this roster.

Wally is decent and nothing more.

Michael Olowokandi has done a great job, but can he sustain it.

Rashad McCants is learning on the job.

Troy Hudson has done good.

I am really dissapointed with Marko Jaric. He has been garbage. For 8 million a year, he should be doing a lot better than this. He does NOT play in the fourth quarter. That ain't good. Typical McHale. Getting hosed on deals.

Sammy is playing well, but he was not going to get it done with the Wolves this year. It was time for him to go.
When KG is speaking out, I hope McHale realize what he is doing wrong. McHale is a smart guy. He knows that he has to be more active on the phones and be more creative in coming out with trades. Just do something. Don't let your assistants do things for you. If McHale is not good enough, resign and let Rex Chapman do something. I think McHale can do it. He did it couple of years ago and he can do it again.

KG is taking a wait and see right now, but if this year ends up like last year, KG is going to make sure that he is going to be gone. The bottom line is that the Timberwolves need to win the Northwest and get to the second round at best. Then,. they gotta add some talent next year. I don't see this team a playoff team just yet.

Patrick Reusse, the Star-Tribune columnist, wrote a good piece on KG and the state of the Wolves yesterday(I hope you read this, Mark). He was basically right on about KG's unhappiness. I did disagree with Patrick on two things. I don't see a tension between KG and Rashad McCants just yet and I don't sense there is a distance with the fans and KG. Even if KG does not talk to the fans, who the heck cares. Also it showed that Reusse does not seem that enthralled with Marko.
