There was a little rumor in the off season that KG would get traded to the Lakers but not much was thought about it. Now their are a lot of KG rumors comming up and I dont know what to believe of them! I mean I see now that if Snaq can get traded anybody can, and thats the truth... But the Wolves arent doing as bad as people thought! SO... I have no idea! And DONT buy the Pistons rumors at all... They arent going to change anything the way they are going....

He loves kobe he should go to LA
KG would not be a good fit in LA. You will bump into the same problem when Shaq was on the team. Kobe is too much of a ball hog. KG is a guy that you would want to build around. You dont just plug KG into any team. He would be great on a crappier team that cares. Like Orlando or even Jersey.

Yeah because after all the Timberwolves will be dumb enough to accept Jerome James, Quentin Richardson, Malik Rose, and other underacheiving guys who are making crazy money. Look McHale is stupid, but not this stupid. There is no way Glen Taylor signs off acquiring those guys for KG. You talk about how the Wolves want the Knicks rookies? Guess what? You gotta match KG's salary to even make a trade. Those rookies are not even making much. You gotta add up guys who are making a lot of money that would be combined to match KG's salary. That's the Knicks underachieving players I just mentioned and that ain't happening. Knicks got nothing to offer. Flip Saunders said it best once about how the Wolves were not into the business of waste management when Dave D'Alessandro, who used to cover the Knicks in the Star-Ledger, told him about a rumor about Charlie Ward, Chris Childs, and others for Terrell Brandon. The Wolves are not into waste management with who the Knicks are offering. Brooklyn Nets have nothing to offer either to get KG so the NY papers are better served not wasting anyone's time and intelligence about how the Knicks or Nets will get KG.
Another thing. KG ain't going anywhere at least this season. This team is trying to go to the playoffs and somehow advanced to the second round. If you are trading KG, you have gave up the season. I don't think the Wolves are that good, but management and ownership owes it to the fans to field a competitive team at least for this season. If they trade KG, you might as well contract the Timberwolves. Glen Taylor has made it clear that KG is not going to be traded this year and I believe him so please stop with the fantasies of where KG is going. I repeat HE AIN'T GOING ANYWHERE for this season.
I hear about how trading KG is going to help the Wolves. It ain't going to help them. It's hard to get anything in return in trades to begin with. You gotta get a franchise player in return to even trade KG. There are not that many great players out there and most teams are not willing to give them up. Draft picks are crapshoots and considering how bad McHale is at his job, you trust him to make the right choice with the draft picks. Timberwolves are better served keeping KG and building around him for years to come. The team needs to step up and field a better team.

I could see how getting rid of KG might help in the long run, but clearing up room, but it would be a rebuilding project. Minny doesn't want to do that. Also it would be nice to get great talent for him, but with his salary and talent you are never going to get equal value. They might trade him, but only if they are willing to lose on the deal.

KG for Odom
On what planet? Mars?
I will tell you the same thing I told Royce. You can not make trades unless their salaries match in the NBA. Lakers gotta give up more than Odom. Lakers got nothing. Wolves are not into waste management and that's what Lakers players are. You want KG? Wait till he is a free agent.

The Wolves won't trade him unless they get an obviously beneficial deal, or if they know they won't be able to sign him in a following offseason.
The Lakers will not be able to afford Kobe and Garnett on the same roster, plus King Kobe won't allow him to come there, and i don't see any combination of players, outside of Kobe, that the Wolves would take for him.
The Knicks have nothing of value to give up for him, nor the cap space. The 3 rookies are the only thing of value on that roster, and they wouldn't be near enough to get him.
If he goes anywhere, it'd be to a team that could afford him, and have quality to give up for him, like Atlanta or Memphis.

I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble, i'm just thinking logically.
And even if he gets signed as a free agent, a teams going to have to sign and trade something of value for him.
