haha, very skillful indeed :D ahh frig it, I'll sign. We've already paid for most of his contract, might as well keep him around the rest. Although if he pulls any more crap I'm gonna...well, do nothing about it, but I'll be pissed.
maybe even write an angry letter and not send it.

Do you really want a distraction in the clubhouse? A cancer in the team? It's the only way.

Who has called him a cancer to the club?

I'd be pretty annoyed if a guy on my team signed an 8 year contract and asked to be traded like every year, then said he was only joking or it never happened, and that he loves it there, only a year later to say that he wants to be traded again.
that pisses me off and I'm not even on the team!
someone as lackluster and non-committent like him should be a cancer to the team...although honestly I don't think the sox see it as that.
for some reason.

I'm with you James. I don't want him at Shea.

I just don't understand why management would break up the best 3-4 hitters in baseball. How does that help a team exactly?

Manny keeps whining about wanting a trade. I am so afraid he'll start dogging it at some point.
But all I can think about is, if he hates Boston, he's going to hate NY just as much.

No thanks. You can keep Manny, and we'll keep Pedro.

I find it laughable that Mets fans all of a sudden don't want Manny. He would be the best hitter on their team by a mile. They didn't want Pedro, now they like him? :laff:

Same. Last year at the trade deadline all they talked about is OMG WE WANT MANNY! I guess that's over.
Mets fans are as fickle as Red Sox and Yankee fans. :laff:
I'm indifferent toward Manny wanting out of Boston. That way, I won't be disappointed if he leave or not. ;)

I never said I didn't want Pedro. I will, however, say I don't want Manny. I didn't want him last year when he was available, and I don't want him now.
Nobody wanted him when the Sox were giving him away for free. Why would I want him now that the Mets will have to give them something in return?
