UNC Tarheels

This was supposed to be a rebuilding year, after losing SEVEN players including the starting 5 of the Championship team.

Has anyone been watching this team? :duh: These kids are wondefully resilient, full of energy, can read defensives and play an offensive game that is breathtaking. Did I mention 3 pointers? :Wow:

I am not, nor have I ever been a fan of either Duke or the Tarheels but daggone it, I'm a fan of Coach K (how can you NOT be) and reluctantly Coach Roy Williams. When he was with Kansas, I liked him but didn't like how he left KS to coach his alma mater UNC and then he won against the Illini and Bruce Webber for the NCAA Championship, who I thought was such a great story last season. But Coach Williams has won me over so early in this season, seeing how these kids not only play but how they want to really perform beyond their own limitations.

The UNC offense is something to be reckoned with and the top 25 schools had better take note.

I still like UNC because they won me lots of money last year... This year my team is Duke in the pool so besides the Cuse, I hafta root on the Dukies:barf:

I watched the game vs Illinois and was not really impressed. However, that game was sloppily played by both teams. They are young and talented, and will be a tourney team this year. Watch out for them for the next couple years after those kids gain some experience and get better.

I hate UNC.

I am glad they did not. Illinois was sloppy that day, too. I know it is small restitution, but I was so glad to beat them in the ACC/BigTen Challenge.
