Whiner?
When is ever spelled with an ''m''?
Anyway, don't expect Damon to be signed until January or February. When it come closer to closer to Spring Training, Damon and Boras will have to reduce their offer for seven years down if they want Damon playing with any team next year. I think they're not balking yet since some team might jump the gun and give Damon such an absurd deal.
Wells is a left hand pitcher that won 15 games last season. We don't want to get rid of him unless we get equal value in return. We can keep him, if he does not want to play, then just like Manny, he won't get paid. Simple as that. Red Sox management is trying to find a new home for Wells, but we're not going to make another team much better while making our team less, because we want to make David Wells happy.
Clement doesn't really need to be trade.
Seem like the Red Sox are going to stick with Youkillis at first, but they still need to pick a 1B to platoon along with Youkillis. I believe they're looking for a left handed 1B, so the Sox can have a left and right hand bat at 1B. Erubiel Durazo of Oakland, Travis Lee of Tampa and Scott Hatteberg of Oakland are all left hand bat. I can see the Sox bring one of those three in, if possible to be the left hand bat to counter Youkillis' right hand bat.
They're working with SS, no official word about the Manny and Tejada deal being ruined just yet, but I know management is still looking at Alex Gonzalez of Florida and Julio Lugo from Tampa. Though I heard interest in Lugo gone down due to his personal problems. At this current time, I see Alex Gonzalez being our SS come next season.
OF will be address later. Sox are watching for Damon and he's holding the process up. We can't sign another CF, because look like we gave up Damon then and that make Damon out of Boston official done. We'll see what happen in the coming weeks, but I don't expect the Sox to pull the trigger until they know what Damon doing.

Eva dude kills me. I wish I could organize my thoughts like that. I'm just too damn lazy. Anyway, you guys hear Mike Myers? Lobbying to get Damon on the Yankees. This is the same Myers who on the world series DVD, looks in the camera after game 7 of the ALCS and says screw New Yorkers. They just root for whoever wins, in Boston, they are true.
SCREW YOU MIKE. Sellout.

Yep, always entertain me when a sixth grader telling me ''I sux!!!1'' or ''u fag.!11'' . Those type of posts are entertaining to read. :laff:
Anyway, back to the main subject, which is the Red Sox this off-season. :D
Dec. 16 -- The Boston Globe reported in its Friday editions that while Damon was on the West Coast this week, the center fielder has not yet met with the Dodgers. The paper also indicates that new Dodgers skipper Grady Little made a phone call to Damon, but that the team is more interested in pursuing free agent Nomar Garciaparra. Damon told WBZ-TV that there is a "good chance" he'll be leaving the Red Sox even though they remain his first choice. "We're still talking. I should know in the next couple of days," Damon said. New Yankees reliever Mike Myers told Newsday that he has spoken to Damon and that he has "strong interest" in playing in the Bronx.
Yep, in short, Damon want more money or a team to sign him to that fifth year or six or seven. If he showed any amount of loyality to the team that his suppose first choice, he'll take the four-year deal and sign a fifth year deal if he's still good during his four year contact, instead of putting the team in a bid with his contact if he sucks during his fourth and fifth year like Bernie end up doing, not on purpose though. He's showing a lot of confidence in what type of player he'll be in five years by not taking this four year deal in my eyes... :ugh:
I still like Damon, but I'm totally turned off how's been approaching his contact. Seem quite greedy of him. Most fans know what he's asking for is ridiculous.
RHP Rudy Seanez, Padres
Dec. 16 -- According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, the Braves are among three teams that have made an offer to Seanez. Seanez's agent, David Schwartz, said the Braves, Devil Rays and Red Sox have all made an offer and that he's awaiting one from the Yankees. Seanez, 37, pitched in Atlanta from 1998-2000 and again briefly in 2001. "He certainly has a fond place in his heart for Atlanta," Schwartz said. "And he loved playing for [manager] Bobby Cox, like every other player I've known who's played for him."
Sox have an offer to Rudy Seanez, who's probably coming off his best season last year.

Yes, Rudy Seanez is a former Red Sox pitcher. Though he did nothing great for us when he was here during 2003.
I have also heard of a rumor that Sox are going to deal Mota and Marte for Coco Crisp.
Here is Crisp's stat for those want to check them out.

I like Crisp too, even his name is cool, but the Tribe are on crack asking for Marte and Mota.
You would think at my age, I would be used to the crap Damon is pulling, but it still stings. :(
Can any athlete have some freakin decency? Like that line in that old movie Wall Street, how many yachts can these jerks water ski behind?
:sigh: It appears Damon is leaving for the bucks. Shocking.

the sad thing is that money means nothing to these guys, even if they are signing big contracts...their super inflated egos want respect, whatever the hell that is, and apparently because of their own asshole-ness and their agents' greedy pushing, respect is measured in money, and it doesn't matter if they actually need it or not.
