Timberwolf

Well with the first quarter of the season over, I gotta say that this start has been very successful for the Timberwolves. Despite the rough week this week, I love what I am seeing. This team is fun to watch. They play hard overall. You see everyone playing for each other. I can't complain. KG is playing like a MVP. Wally is starting to come unto his own. Eddie Griffin has been great defensively and he is starting to come into his own offensively.
I think Dwane Casey has been great as advertised so far. He has done everything right so far.
This team needs to continue to get the most out of the supporting cast and continue to be consistent in winning. They gotta find ways to win like I saw in the West Coast.
This team has clearly exceeded my expectations. As you know, I had them winning 26 games this season because I wasn't crazy about the supporting cast and I thought this team aged. They did not do much this off-season. I think Casey has done a great job putting guys like Wally, Marko, Troy Hudson, and Eddie Griffin in a position to succeed and KG has played like a MVP so far.
If I have to give a grade on the team, I would give them a B and the coach gets a B too. Will they win the division and will they sustain this? I don't know. If I have to say, sadly no. I think this team is a playoff team, but they might be the last seed which would not be a good thing since they would lose to the Spurs. Their best shot of getting past the first round is win the division.
