During the games today, CBS had a poll up to vote for coach of the year. Nearly 48% as of the last that I had seen had p icked Tony Dungy. How?? How do you choose a guy who took a team that was already 13-3 or something last season and loaded with talent, and as of now has not improved on that record at all??

If i had to choose someone right now, I owuld take Lovie Smith in a heartbeat.

If an other team won today I would be leaning an other way but being that didnt happen I would have to go with Smith also.

Mike Tice, even though I'm not a large fan of him, look where the Vikings are and tell me I should not even consider Tice. I will also have to go with Lovie Smith and what he has doen with that Bears team. Nobody in thought the Bears would be where they are now. If the season end, I still would give it to Lovie Smith over Mike Tice.

The one that someone didnt let me moop about it without bugging me. :D
(Its all good I laughed my ass off)

Mike Tice
He was the one I was talking about. If they would have won today it would have gave them a chance to get a shot at the Bears for the div and a great shot to get to the playoffs. Now they need to win out and get some great breaks.

he took a team which was 8-8 last season and has so far improved them to 10 wins. I respect what Lewis has done, but he has done it over a period of 3 years... The Bengals have gradually gotten better every season under Lewis. The Bears came out of nowhere under Lovie this year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Lewis win it, he'd be deserving...but I would vote for Smith if it were between the two.

What about Saban in Miami?

Oh, and i wouldn't discount Tice because of today's game. The Vikings have improved quite a bit, and they're doing it without Onterrio Smith, Randy Moss, and Daunte Culpepper. Not a small feat.
