This is Real good news

I wonder if this sent "shockwaves" throughout baseball like his signing did according to Loser Lloyd?;)

Just make sure he stays on his boat...don't want him showing up out this direction...

Wouldn't it be a shame if Bell had a friendly encounter with a shark or baracuda on his yacht?

Haha. I hope a lot of sharks want to go into Operation Chowdown.
More on Bell:
After Stan Savran interviewed him, Bell told Savran off cameras that there was no point in learning the pitchers since there's only three teams they play in Spring Training that they'll face in the regular season. He said he'd work harder if he faced more pitchers in the regular season.
Thank GOD he's gone.

When a Pirates publicist saw Bell leaving the clubhouse, he asked him if he had any message to pass on. Bell said only, "I got onto my yacht and rode off into the sunset."
Bell was living this spring on a luxury boat that was anchored near downtown Bradenton, just as he lived on a boat while playing for the Mets several years ago.
hahahhahaha thats the most funny thing ive ever read a picture perfect end to a goof ball and a goof player.   and db didnt know where he was going just hitched up his baggy pants and trugded on towards the distant horizon and they say if the suns setting just right you can still see him stink.

Ding dong, the witch is dead . . .
I don't think that Lloyd is going to live down that shockwaves comment. Kind of like McClatchy saying we were going to win 90 games a couple of years ago. Maybe he meant that he thought this team could win ninety games over a span of like 2 years.

The Bell signing DID send shockwaves through baseball. Negative shockwaves, but shockwaves. I don't think Lloyd was thinking of negative shockwaves, though.
