... he'd have been voted in as a starter, with their media machine leading the way...

I am happy that he is here with us, but it is a shame that he gets no recognition. He should've been in the HR derby, for instance...

every inning replacement seems to have included a yankee. and of course the media says oh yeh no ones deserves to be here more than jeter :). so he hit a home run who cares!! he shouldnt have been playing. it was nice seeing cal ripkin play one more time but i got the distinct feeling that some of the memories were manufactured. Didnt they interupt the game last year with something???? and they did it to give the award to cal ripkin not that its not deserved.
