ok, question. during that run, did you see the oakland guy getting held? now, I doubt that would have changed anything since there were two guys around him and tiki had him beat but...shouldn't they have called that?

I assumed you mean the the last guy that had a chance to catch him?
I honestly didnt notice it because there was 2 Giants there..

yeah, I am talking about that guy...you could clearly see one of the giants holding the dude's jersey.
I'm not complaining...I don't really care about this game anyway, I was just wondering whether I was the only person who noticed it or whatever.

I think it was Toomer and I even thought it was a hold...
But Tiki has a be a MVP candidate, he makes this team go. He leads the league in yards from scrimmage and without him I'm pretty sure the Giants would be below .500 right now.

holds by receivers have to be pretty damned blatant (like tackling them or completely preventing them from doing anything). Yeah, it was probably a bit of a hold, but i have seen even worse not called.
i watched that play in the bar tonight (yep, getting a drink during my sisters reception). it was great watching him direct traffic on the run.
Its between him and Shaun Alexander for the MVP, IMO. if either one is picked, its all good to me because they are both so deserving.

Tiki is also like 40% of the Giants offense...
I would love to see Barber win the MVP but I dont think there is any way that Alexander wont win it.. Ended up leading the NFL in rushing and his TD total is so overwhelming...

well if you remember, when priest holmes set the record 2 years ago he wasn't the MVP.
But seriously how hard is it to make 28 touchdowns where 24 of them were probably 1 yard touchdown runs? The offense just chooses to let him score kindof like Pittsburgh chooses to let Jerome Bettis have all the touchdowns.
Shaun Alexander just wins MVP by default. No one else had a significant individual season really.

Yeah I agree. I really don't think the 28 TDs is a big deal for a RB. Manning's record was special, I don't think this one is.
