Did you watch the game Tim? Man I saw the score and it was bad... There field goal percentage was terrible but why? Was the Miami defense THAT good? Or was it one of those nights that they just could not find the hoop! It happens we all get our spankings I just do not get it..
Anyways feedback

I got a rare opportunity to watch the Timberwolves on NBATV Sunday night and let's just say that their performance was an eye-opener experience. I say eye-opener because I saw lot of things that has me very concerned about this team and this organization as a whole. I saw a team is just not very good and I saw a team that seriously needs to get lot of players for this team to ever be good again. The only identity that I saw from this team is that they stink.
The second half was atrocious. There is no other way to put it, folks. This was bad basketball at its best. I saw a team that did not look prepared. I saw a team that did not play well. I saw a team that had no clue how to run offense or play defense. I saw a team that quit. I saw a team that did not interact with each other in running the offense or playing defense. I saw a team that just did not play hard. I saw a team that just did not play for each other. I saw several guys on this team that was way over their head. Sunday night was a red flag to what's going to happen for our team. Look at our schedule in January. You really think things are going to get better, people. I sure don't. Then you really wonder why there is apathy on the Wolves by the Minnesota sporting public and in the Twin Cities media. This team simply stinks and this team has given a reason for no one to be excited. What you saw Sunday night is what this team is all about.
I don't think anyone played well. Period. No offense to Rashad, but when he is the only one playing well, there is something seriously wrong. Yeah guys defended KG and Wally well, but I did not see any energy or effort from either of them so they don't get a free ride. I did not see KG and Wally be assertive on defense. It's one thing to have bad night offensively, but defensively should be a effort thing on a everyday basis. I saw a lack of energy from those two which is why I am calling them out for this game. The supporitng cast stunk as usual. Eddie was great in the first half, but then did absoultely nothing in the second half. Trenton stunk as usual. Marko is way over his head as usual. Michael is Michael. I am done with Troy Hudson. I rather see Anthony start even though he would be hard-press to give you anything on offense. Troy just is not doing well right now. I just don't like what he is doing.
The only good thing about this game was Rashad was playing. He did okay which is what I expected. If anything, he might have been the only one who played hard.. If I have constructive criticism for him, I like to see him find the open guy if possible and throw the ball to him so he can score. Rashad does not need to score every basket. He does not need to put pressure on himself to be the third scorer. While it would be nice to see him step up, he doesn't necessarily need to be World B. Free and just throw shots out there to see if it goes in. He can contribute by throwing to the open guy. It seems he is trying to do too much. The game has to come to him. Another thing. If he wants to go to the hoop, he needs to know how to beat his defender. He can't just give in once the defender is by the hoop or patrolling the paint. I saw him do that several times where he just gave in once he was heading to the hoop to score. I hope he can do better through experience.
I have no idea why Dwane played his starters in the fourth quarter. It was over and second, those guys deserved to be benched for the way they came out. Yeah Skeeta and Richie Frahm stinks, but they at least would give you some energy and effort. It would have been nice to see Dwayne Jones play too.
Dwane credited Miami a lot. I was hoping he would call out his team and he should had. I respect that he did not want to embrass his players to the media, but he better have yelled at several of his players who did not look prepared and who quit privately. I know I would and if you read what I have to say, I definitely would.
It seems the writers praised Miami for their performance, but anyone who watched the game would know that the Timberwolves did not look right or play right in that game. It's one thing to lose, but it's another to play bad or not have their heads in the game. I can't accept a performance like this. I was okay with losing as you saw in the first two weeks in December because they played well and the effort was there, but I am not going to put up with this. I don't think any fan should and I sure as hell hope it's not okay with the players and the organization to accept this.
This was a New York Knick-like performance Sunday night and I better not see this again. I was so angry that I felt like throwing a chair in the window. I know I was cursing and stomping the ground that my cousin from Kentucky heard me yell on the telephone as he was talking to my dad. That's how angry I was. I had to go outside on a cold Sunday night to a mall just to relieve my anger. I went to buy several books just to calm me down because I was that disgusted with the loss. When the Wolves lose a game in that fashion, I get crazy and annoyed for several days. I get to see the Wolves on TV all week since they are on NBATV and ESPN. I think the streets in Fort Lee, NJ may have to be on a lookout for a crazy, psychotic Timberwolf fan running in the streets.
With the way things are going, things are only going to get worse.

Ya Tim I messaged you about this the other day... Ya the Wolves I think were maybe even outcoached and outplayed.
This is my SERIOUS concern, is KG slacking as this teams leader? Has his leadership been deteriorating every year he has been playing?!
Hopefully not....

I don't think KG is slacking at all as a leader. I think he leads by example and he always encourage guys. He talks to them. The problem with this team is that they don't have the horses to be that great like two years ago. That falls on Kevin McHale's neck hence why I have been calling for his head.
A friend of mine and I talked about the Wolves matchups for the month of January. If Sunday's game was any indication, this Timberwolves team could be in big trouble. He showed me who the Wolves are playing and I was terrifed looking at the teams that the Wolves will face. Wolves got Dallas twice and the Spurs twice this month. They also get Flip's Pistons this month. They get the Pacers and Rockets. The Bulls are struggling, but they will be a tough draw for the Wolves. Memphis has been fantastic this season. The only gimme game for the Wolves is the Knicks and God bless the Wolves if they lose to the Knicks. They got the Nuggets too this month and I think Denver is going to hit their stride soon.
It's not going to be easy because there are lot of teams that create matchup problems in which they got more scorers like the Mavs, Spurs, Grizzlies, and the Pistons. If the Wolves can finish .500 this month and somehow beat some good teams, they stayed afloat. If not, we might as well talk about who the Wolves should draft and start talking more KG trade rumors because their season is probably is done. I don't see the Wolves making the playoffs as eighth seed since they are too many good teams out West. Their best chance to make the playoffs is winning the division period. Of course if the Wolves struggle and Denver or Seattle hit their stride in January, their chances of winning the division is over.
If the Sunday game was any indication, you might as well pray for a Wolves victory this month.
