It's too bad that Damon will be out for the year. He has been a great signing for the Grizz. He has played great. His best basketball in quite awhile. Fratello really got the most out of him. I know Gasol and Battier really enjoyed playing with Damon. It's too bad that he got hurt especially in his return to Portland. To get hurt in your old stomping grounds had to really hurt especially since his time in Portland ended badly.
Grizzlies are going to have to add someone for sure not to mention picking up that contract for few more years. It's going to be tough. Bobby Jackson can start, but he has that hamstring injury to deal with so you can't use him for that minutes.
It will be interesting what magic Jerry West can pull off his hat. Grizzlies can have Troy Hudson for nothing as far as I am concerned. Too bad for us that Jerry West is very smart and Troy is not his type of guy.
