Troy Aikman and the late Reggie White were among the 15 finalists

They joined Thurman Thomas and Warren Moon as finalists in their first year of eligibility. Results of the vote will be announced Feb. 4, the day before the Super Bowl in Detroit.

The two seniors candidates, former Dallas offensive tackle Rayfield Wright and former Oakland coach and current broadcaster John Madden, were chosen by a special committee last August and went straight to the finals. The other 13 were selected from a list of 25 semifinalists.

The other finalists are: linebackers Derrick Thomas and Harry Carson; defensive ends L.C. Greenwood and Claude Humphrey; offensive linemen Russ Grimm, Bob Kuechenberg and Gary Zimmerman; and wide receivers Michael Irvin and Art Monk.

Who do you think should be voted in?

Anyone but Irvin. His numbers rate induction, but his record does not.

That'd be weird if the 2 best defencive players of the 90's were both elected in this year, since are alive to make their speech.

And Thomas better get in this year!

I have no problem with Irvin getting in, just not this year. His problems are no worse than what was going on in the 70's and the 80's. Still, Art Monk needs to get in first before Irvin.

Still, Art Monk needs to get in first before Irvin.

That the exact way I think.

Troy Aikman
Reggie White
Bob Kuechenberg
Art Monk
Derrick Thomas
John Madden

That's my list but I could have put Thurman Thomas, Michael Irvin, Warren Moon and Gary Zimmerman on there too. All of them deserve HOF honors.

On second thought, Warren Moon needs to be in there instead of Kuechenberg or maybe even Madden.
