I am good friends with this season-ticker holder for the Wolves. He told me this morning that. He told me that Kevin McHale has been calling teams to get a deal. Rumor has it that Olowokandi could be traded for Mark Blount and Flip Murray.

I know Murray has been on the doghouse in Seattle with his play. I will take him though. He is our third scorer by default. He can't be worse than others.

I thought Michael did the best he could. He is just not that good. It's best that he and the Wolves move on.

At least, McHale is trying and that's a great thing. We will see how this unfolds

Here is the link, Tony.

This season-ticket holder was talking about a potential trade here:

I know Stephen A. Smith reported about trading Wally for Francis. I am all for getting Francis. However, I am opposed to giving up Wally for Francis. Maybe Artest, but not Francis. It will take time for KG and Francis to jell. This team can't afford to wait for the two of em to jell at this time. For some reason, Francis has some personal problems that may not be related to basketball and I am not sure the Wolves can afford to wait for Francis to get over it. I am willing to dump Rashad or any other guys for Francis, but not Wally at this point.

Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor told Star-Tribune's Sid Hartman that he thinks a trade will happen, but don't expect Francis or Artest. If we can get someone who can score, that's all I want.

He said Kandi will be gone within 72 hours

I have a nauseating feeling that Kandi will still be in Minnesota and we won't get Flip Murray.

Now I hear it's Kandi for Blount. I don't like that deal. Blount is an underacheiver and he has extra years in his contract. I rather keep Kandi. Kandi is useless, but at least he will give you something and he is in his last year. I like to get rid of a bad contract.

I know Darren Wolfsen, who produces the Chad Hartman show on KFAN, talked about how it's Kandi for Darius Miles. He may have heard rumors on this one, but I doubt that's going to happen. Why would Portland dump a good player for Kandi other than wanting to get rid of Miles's salary and the fact they want to get cap space with Kandi's contract expiring. I think Miles can benefit playing for a good head coach in Nate McMillan. Miles has done well for Nate prior to his injury. I would love to get Miles and I think Miles will work hard since KG is his role model and he would not want to tick of his role model. I don't see it happening.

Charley Walters, who writes garbage for the St. Paul Pioneer Press, mentioned how the Nuggets would trade Kenyon Martin for Trenton and Michael. First off, is Walters nuts. What is he smoking? No way Denver is trading Kenyon Martin for those two. Second, why would Denver trade its asset to a division rival. Charley had to made this one up. This is the same guy who said the Twins would get Hank Blalock in a matter of days. I am still waiting even though I am not holding my breath.
