Of course we finally got snow today but according to their creed..."Rain, sleet or snow..." I was supposed to get three Netflix movies today. I got one. I'm not going to blame Netflix but I will ***** about the Postal Service. :gripe:

It seems that this is a regular occurance for you, Koz. I remember a few other threads with this problem, and I have a feeling that it is Netflix. My roommate had one of these agreements with Blockbuster, and he never had any problems at all with it. Maybe you should consider switching companies.

You could be right, Special K, about it being the movie service and not the US Postal Service. But I'm going to at least sympathize with Koz on this one because I'm a bit upset at my local post office as well.
We didn't have an oh-fishal Post Office type place in my town until last year when they tore down an old store and put up one of these combo units with gas, deli, McDonalds and satellite Post Office all in one place. Boy howdy and yee-haw! The local folks here in Firefly Gap were excited, and indeed they should have been. Only I go there yesterday and there's a sign walking in that reads, "Sorry, we are out of 2¢ stamps and 39¢ stamps, and are currently not accepting packages." :notme: These are exactly the three services I need! Mind you, it's a pleasant and only 10-mile drive in the country to the next real post office, but I was still left with a bit of distaste in my mouth about the whole affair.
Plus I thought if I bad-mouthed th USPS, maybe we could draw Toy Cannon into the conversation :Pimp

At first I thought Netflix was at fault but then I realized our mail comes late everyday. At 5:00 if not later. So I'd like to think we're probably one of the last stops for them and they don't do their best job.

So Willie, the when you go to the post office in Firefly Gap, do you end up getting gas for the car, cold cuts at the deli, and a McDonalds meal http://www.addictsports.com/baseball/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif
Also, wouldn't this post office be known as the general store http://www.addictsports.com/baseball/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif
