External Hard Drives Suck

For about the third time my external HD stopped working and I don't know why. It wouldn't be that bad but I have all my mp3's on it. :gripe:

I went from 16,000 mp3s to 0. But I built it up to 400+ today.

I had to reformat the drive. It's working now.
