:wave1:
Should be a nice day down here in Central Texas as far as the weather goes. I'm planning to head into San Antonio to see a few folks along the Riverwalk and discuss a little bid'ness over a big schooner of Mexican lager or maybe a 'rita or two. Y'all want to come along?

Since Ray and Nan are being unsociable, I'll pick up the slack and come and join you:D

Dang! I logged off just when you issued this very fine invitation!
I'm totally off tequila after it made me incredibly ill Friday night after one frozen margarita. I swear, I never want to even smell tequila ever again. :barf:
But a beer sounds good. :D
Offer still open?

Hell yeah the offer's still open. Just take the #7 down to Hicksville, Texas, and I'll drive us the rest of the way :D
Oh, and if I only had a nickel for each time I swore off tequila... :hmm:

I will have to try to meet you down there some time Willie.
I got a real quick view of the river walk in my quest to find the Holy Ground of Texas. When I did find The Alamo I had to high tail it quick though the place and then off back to the base. I have always wanted to return and some day I hope to have a drink with you there real soon. :D

...the Holy Ground of Texas. When I did find The Alamo I had to high tail it quick...It's always funny to be with people when they see the Alamo for the first time. Most folks, especially from out of state, are expecting this really big fort, no doubt due in part to all of the 'everyhing is bigger in Texas' bull they hear. Then they see it and they're like, "What the heck? It's just a little funny-shaped adobe wall." :notme:
Can't remember if I asked this before, Shad, but what base were you at, Kelly, Lackland ??????

With all Air Force Recurts we go to Lackland for basic.
But I always knew it was small because the city built around it and it was just a little church before it was what it was. But still an amazing place to stand.

My uncle was at one time or another stationed at Lackland, Kelly and old Bergstrom in Austin, plus other locales like Del Rio, Las Vegas, Clovis, England and three official stints in SE Asia. Lackland's my favorite because you can go sit at the Double-A park across Highway 90 there and watch both baseball and jets take off and land.

Didn't realize it was that far. Nick and I are talking about taking a trip up there and seeing my nephew and niece, I was thinking if it wasn't too far we might wander over to your neck of the woods.
