every year he talks about retiring just to get attention because hes washed up and dont get no attention for his play on the field i mean if this happened a couple times id understand but its a yearly thing about if hes gunna retire or not and its obvious packers wanna move on they just dont wanna look like the bad guys

you know, maybe if people would stop asking him that question we wouldnt be talking about it every year. its pretty simple, really. just stop asking. This wouldnt be talked about if chris mortenson didnt choose to have an interview with brett

Washed up?
He had more completions, better completion percent, and more yards passing than Drew Bledsoe had. And all that without his top 2 recievers and a terrible O-line.
I guess you must be washed up after the year he had where he no offensive line for protection and no receiver to go to and no running game what so ever to speak of, right? Yep, he's completely washed up! :duh:

He's still a physical freak at the QB position, but when was the last time he ever had anyone good catching his passes?
However yes................I wish he'd just make up his mind, and quit acting stupid.

So he had a bad year. It would be the first in the last 12 years. I don't have any doubt he can come back and do just as well as he has in the past.

How's that funny? I'll like to see any QB try to work with no real offensive, rushing game or receiver to speak of. The Packers were an crippled mess where the 5th string players were starting. Favre did what he could under the circumstances, you seem to fail to take that into account.

Is it just me or is Big R the "Steven A. Smith" of this forum? He just says things to get a response from people.

He did have Donald Driver all year, and Bubba Franks for most of the year. Not having a rushing game didn't help him out.
If he wants to play again, fine. If he doesn't want to, fine....I'm just sick of hearing about it everyday.
