they both signed one year deals today. Ohman gets 610,000 and Pierre gets 5.75 million. the only remaining arbitration elgible player is Carlos Zambrano who is seeking 7.2 million and the team is offering 6 million.
so far in every deal, they have pretty much split the difference on the arbitration numbers. The cubs have never gone to arbitration under Andy McPhail.
