The honorees this year were:

Troy Aikman
Warren Moon
Reggie White
Harry Carson (FINALLY)
John Madden
Rayfield Wright

its a shame that Art Monk still cant get in, but at least they didnt put Irvin in before Monk. And Warren Moon definitely deserved to get it. Troy did, but i thought he should get in with Irvin next year.

and of course Reggie was a no brainer. I have no problem with Madden either as he was a great coach and he's been the face of the NFL for the past 20 something years.

I'm really surprised Thurman Thomas didn't get in. I thought he was a lock for a first ballot.

In any case, excellent choices.

WOOHOO!

Thank God Warren and Harry finally made it.

I am really happy for Harry. It's a crime that he never made it all these years. He was the heart and soul of that Giants team along with LT. He was the face of the franchise IMO.

This was well-deserved by everyone.

Congrats to them and it's long overdue for Harry Carson.

This is really a day of celebration. Great football players that were great people.

Derrick Thomas should of gotten in before Warren Moon, or even Thurman Thomas (who got more votes). He was far better at his position than either were.

Agreed.

Derrick Thomas should be in too. He had 7 sacks in one game! I think he is also 11th or so in total sacks.

Most, if not all of the hall-of-fame inductees deserved to get in. Derrick Thomas should be as sentimental of a favorite as Reggie White. Thomas died in the prime of his career. Who knows how great he would have been. No offense to Reggie White, who is a first ballot guy, but D.T. needs in. So does Monk, but the election committee can't see that consistency and total numbers DO matter in one's career. Congrats to all of the inductees.

Reggie White is, and may always be the greatest ever. He was amazing.

I will echo all on the Art Monk. It is sad that he isnt in the NFL HoF. He did everything that needed to get there. Along with that echo DT needed to be in also. A great player that made teams plan around him.

Great to see Moon in. Reggie White is one of the best D-Line men ever great to see him in. Nice to see Madden in also.
