Tim Hudson pitched like a machine 6 1/2 innings.. 4 hits.. one run.. 6 Ks... but didn't get the win because the bullpen faltered.
Either way, 2-0 start for oakland.
Oh yeah. and Carlos Pena won it with a solo shot in the bottom of the 9th off of our beloved Dan miceli.
