Game 1
It's going to be a tuff game and this one could go ether way But I think Rusch can out pitch Batista for the Win.
Brewers Win

Game 2
I don't think the Brewers can beat Randy Johnson.
Arizona Win

Game 3
Schilling is pitching to well and I think he will outduel Ben Sheets.
Arizona Win

Saturday and Sundays matchups are excellent. Am going to Sundays Sheets/Schilling tilt..Can't wait!

Brewers have gotten beat around these past couple days. Tough way to open the season, hope they don't get discouraged if they start 2-4.. In Wade Miller, Oswalt, Unit and Schilling the Crew gets the honor(?) of facing four of the best starters in the National league within the first week..After that everything else will be a walk in the park!;)

Congratulations to Glendon Rusch on his first career home run.

I always liked Glendon, and I continue to wish him the best (except agains the Mets of course!).

What happened to Batista that he only pitched an inning or two?? Was he injured?

It apair that the DBacks just changed starters which happens and Batista come in the bulpen.

I sure there isn't a problem with him and that he is fine.

Great performance by Schilling. The only Brewer that made contact all day was Raul Casanova. He got the only hit and made solid contact his other two at bats. Sent one deep to the opposite field and grounded out sharply in his other appearande. The rest of the Brewers looked overmatched. Tyler Houston hit a solid foul ball but that was about it...Jose Hernandez looked the worst, created quite a breeze...but when I walked in I said to my friend 'this could be ugly for the Brewers today'. But was still fun to watch..

I never give up on players in April because some just dont play well in cold weather and then heat up when the weather does. I'm hoping thats the case for Eric Young because his bat speed was s l o w....Let's hope they turn it around after facing the Big Unit and Schilling back to back...

The game was played at Miller Park. There is a roof and they heat the building. So the Weather isn't a factor.

But I not giving up on them ether for they have had a tuff schedule so far and I am very pleased with how they played in all of them expect the 2nd one in houston.

They have faced 4 of the top starters in the National League in the first week, very tough. They'll be fine..but weatherwise....I was there in the 5th row. It couldnt have been more than 45 degrees on the field, roof or no roof. Randy Johnson made mention of it in his start...Wasnt bad in the stands but the field was cold.
I assume you have season tickets 645, how far up are they? It's amazing, there isnt a bad seat in the house. Love the park, hope to get a table at Fridays overlooking the field some time...
