Jimmie Johnson Wins the Daytona 500

Jimmie Johnson has won the 48th running of the Daytona 500.This is his 1st ever Daytona 500 win.

Johnson was driving without his reglualr crew chief Chad Knaus,who was banned from this weekends racing at Daytona for rules violations.

After the race,Johnson dedicated his win to all the doubters and haters who thought that he couldn't win at Daytona.

If it wasn't for Jamie McMurray crashing Kurt Busch with about 20 to go, I would bet that a Penske car would've won. When Busch and Newman were running together, they reminded me of Earnhardt Jr and Waltrip, they were dominant.

Congrats to Johnson. He's the best driver on the circuit without a title (well, I don't know if its the driver or the equipment behind it).
