Cardinals lineup:
2B Vina
3B Polanco
RF Drew
3B Pujols
CF Edmonds
SS Renteria
1B Martinez
C Matheny
P Stephenson
Maybe Renteria can go to the top of the order soon, if LaRussa trusts him to hit above Tino.
Rockies lineup:
CF Pierre
SS Uribe
RF Walker
1B Helton
3B Zeile
LF Hollandsworth
2B Ortiz
C Bennet
P Neagle
3 Todds in a row. 2 Juans in a row. Larry and Gary. May be the difference in the game right there. ;)
My prediction:
The starters will perform solidly, but still a fair share of runs will be produced. The game's score will be close and around the 5-6 run area. Stephenson and Neagle both can possibly hold the game under control, and the game will depend on who has the more explosive offense. Rockies have a better first four, but the Cardinals have a better overall lineup. Zeile protecting Helton looks ugly from my point of view. I think that if the Cardinals are winning by the sixth inning, Veres and Kline can put this one away. Cardinals are in a better position to to win this one but it is by no means a clear cut victory.
