View Full Version : Drew Brees coming to Detroit?

Not sure if this is a rumor or not but I heard a little something about Drew Brees getting pushed to either Detroit or Miami... Not sure if this would help the Lions seeing how completely TERRIBLE they are, but does anyone else have any info on the status of this potential deal?

He's likely going to the Dolphins I'd say. Why wouldn't the Dolphins get him? He's the piece that will take them to the playoffs. Him and T.O.

Haha, Ronnie Brown is going to be fine. No, but seriously, I think we get Brees. Probably not T.O., but I think it would be a good move. And for some reason I think Ricky will play this year too.

Everything i've heard is they're going to go hard after Culpepper. But everyday with him it's he's going to deffinatly stay with the Vikings, or deffinatly be cut, so i guess it depends on that.

I just hope the Lions make a real effort in going after Brees.

The Lions need an arm better than Joey. Brees would be an improvement.

If they would of held on and lost to the Saints like they should of, they would of had the second overall pick and been in position to take Leinhart. :hmm:

No the Dolphins i heard are going after Culpepper once/if he's let go. It just seems like they want him more than Brees. Thats just what i've heard the most of, i really don't follow them that closely.

Hmmm...I thought they'd want Brees instead. Culpepper is fine with me, but I'd prefer Brees.
