Jose Contreras will be scaratched from his scheduled start this coming Monday as he continues to recover from pain in his right elbow.The scratch is a precautionary move by Ozzie Guillen.
Contreras did not feel any pain on Friday.He was scheduled to play long toss this afternoon.
He has 2 more starts remaining this spring.
Meanwhile,Scott Podsednik went through a full workout on Friday.He had a cortisone shot in his sore left shoulder and will steadily increase his workload as the spring progresses.
