well halladay pitched 8 innings, struck out 8, gave up no runs, had a whip of 0.76 (or something close) and got the Win, really nice night for him.....

as of the bottom of the 6th he hadn't.......yeah I bet Nate is crying...I tried to give him Barry for Chipper straight up before the season and he wouldn't take it............sure am glad he wouldn't.....

he actually didn';t hit a homer tonight.

he is 1-2. with a double.. a walk.. and a HBP...

he does, of course, still have one more inning to play, but the giants would have to bat around.


this kills his pace though. He was set to break hank Aaron's record on july 18th. :P
