I have one thing to say and that is.....
Thank you for banning him.
Best Team Chemistry: Mets
Why?
Roger Clemens is the better pitcher than last 15 years, not Randy Johnson.
How do you know intelligent Mussina is?
Oh, nevermind, this most entertaining I've seen posted in some time. Too bad he was banned, he was funny mis-spelling the names of the players on the Yankees.

well, i definately agree with him on this one...didn't Moose graduate in three years with an econ degree from like...stanford or something?
some ivy league school. that's damn impressive.

He's going to need that brain cause he 's barely hitting upper 80s with his fastball now = =b....
The Yankees still have a lot of issues... most notably is bench and bullpen depth.... they got great starters... on paper anyway.... except that with 7 out of 8 fielders into their 30s and a rotation with only 1 guy that's both young and didn't get hurt last year... with a questionable middle bullpen...
They will need to pray that they don't have any serious injury issues this time around... cause last year it was only cause 2 rookies and 2 journyman saved their arse from utter disastor that they even made the playoffs.... and that was just because it was the starters injured... imagine if say... Mo and/or Farnsworth gets hurt this year..... or if just about anyone in the infield gets hurt..... with the possible exception of first base the Yanks back ups will all be a huge downgrade offensive wise...
Even if they do make the playoffs though (which i think they are probably the top 3 most sure bet to do ), the issue is still there... if your going to win the playoffs the first and foremost thing you need is a great pitching staff.. while this staff is at the very least above average if they stay healthy.. is it really a WS caliber staff? No one is going to argue about RJ.. but Moose is definately slowing to the point where he's probably not a WS caliber #2 starter.. but is the young Chacon and Wang or Pavano really up to that scale either?
Aside from staying healthy, how well the middle relieve corp do this year will also be important.. last year this was a total disastor, with the only good one in Aaron Small later having to fill the starters cause they had so many injuries... the Yanks had to use people like Strutze and Al Leiter even into the playoffs = =b... Scott Proctor will be a major factor this year IMHO
While I still don't think the Yankees bullpen is stellar, it's been improved to a degree. They did bring in a good left hand specialist in Mike Myers from Boston. Villone is an overall solid bullpen pitcher and he can also start if he must. Sturtze somewhat reverted back to his D-Ray form, but he can also start and was solid in the pen before he struggled somewhat last year. Small is not good in the bullpen from what I saw, he should be the number six over that bum Wright. Dotel is a good pitcher, as long as he's not closing. He'll be a nice setup or 7th inning man when he comes in during the break. Farnsworth closed for the Braves last season and he'll be setting up. They're hoping he can setup like Gordon did. Mo is still Mo until I'm shown otherwise.
The bench isn't great, but it's solid. Crosby a nice defensive back-up for all three OF position. Williams is a joke, no offense to him, but he's no longer can field. Cairo was solid as hell back in 04, he's a good back-up for 3B and SS. Lol, Jeter will start most of the time, but Escalona. Phillps is young and can become quite solid as a back-up 1B. Stinnett is a solid back-up for Jorge, better than Mike Flaherty.
